  • All our frames are manufactured using high impact, high performance PVCu extruded to a defined European Standard of quality and consistency, covering aesthetic appearance, dimensions, colour fastness and strength of welds.
  • All our doors can be manufactured to BS7412/ PAS24, the specification for PVC-U extruded profiles with heat welded corner joints.
  • Manufactured in accordance with ISO9001
    (British Standards Quality Assurance System), security hardware conforms to PAS 24 (the specification for enhanced security performance)and our security enhanced doors are also passed by the official police security initiative Secured by Design.

Ultimate Energy-Efficiency with PVCu Panel Doors

Understanding Energy-Efficiency

Window Energy Ratings rate windows from ‘A/A+’ to ‘G’ using a ‘traffic-light’ type colour code. For your windows to meet the building regulations, all new windows must achieve a minimum WER ‘C’ rating or U-value of 1.6 or less. Doors and conservatories are not rated in the same way, however, with Cardinal Home Improvements, both products are equally as energy-efficient as our windows ensuring your home performs well.

All Cardinal Home Improvement windows and doors use a German engineered, thermally efficient five chamber PVCu system which creates a barrier between cold air outside and warm air inside. It has also been designed to accommodate the most energy efficient triple-glazed insulated units.

Excellent service and expertise. Steve and his team have designed and constructed a single story extension for us and we are delighted with it. We customised the design and were given suggestions about changes and improvements we could have, leading to the final design.
Thoroughly recommend Cardinal after seeing the prices and service of competitors (not naming any, but a very big National company really tried to pull a fast one on us with pricing and add-ons).

I can't thank Cardinal Home Improvements enough for the amazing conservatory transformation. Having researched many options to replace my old leaky conservatory roof, I contacted Steve who provided drawings and costings remotely, despite the pandemic. I felt reassured by the conversations we had and felt confident to go ahead with the replacement roof. The job was completed on time and with the minimum of fuss or delay. Cardinal Home Improvements have just completed a Living roof and window installation for which we are extremely pleased. These Guys are all very professional in their approach and installation. They were extremely clean and tidy workers and we were more than happy to leave them to carry out the installation whilst my wife had to go out on several occasions. The Living roof is fantastic and was installed the night of the worst storm I have ever seen in Bilston and there were no leaks even though it wasn't completed. I would totally recommend Cardinal Home Improvements to anyone and give our thanks to Steve and the team.
