French doors not only enhance the natural light coming into your home, but they also infuse your home with a touch of continental charm. Designed with two doors that open either inwards or outwards, their slim PVCu frames and lack of a central mullion (or middle bar) ensure unobstructed views and easy access throughout your property. Equipped with multi-point locking systems and internal reinforcement, our French doors provide the same high level of security as all our other garden Lifestyle products.

We now have the technical ability to use this material safely for non weather-facing material within a number of our profiles. All Formula One weather-facing / UV-facing surfaces are 100% lead free and made from 100% virgin polymer PVCu. Inside, any recycled PVCu is incorporated safely, clearly identified by a different colour.
All Formula One windows and doors use the latest shoot-bolt multipoint locking systems and internal glazing beads offering total peace of mind. Profile walls are strong and robust, with steel reinforcement at the critical points to increase resistance to attack. Our security commitment ensures that our windows and doors can meet the Police preferred Secured by Design standard (Note – we can achieve this specification, it is not standard).

ENVIRONMENTAL
Lead-Free PVCu
Historically, older PVCu window frames and doors contained lead-based additives. When touched, especially after weathering, these could pose a risk of lead contamination. For several years now, end-of-life PVCu products have been routinely turned into granules to create reconstituted PVCu, thereby reducing landfill.
Thanks to advancements in technology, we can now safely use this recycled material within many of our profiles. At Cardinal Home Improvements, all weather-facing and UV-facing surfaces are made from 100% lead-free virgin polymer PVCu. Any recycled PVCu is incorporated safely inside the profiles and is clearly identified by a different colour.
