What are Flush Sash Casement Windows?
Particularly suited to heritage homes, our new flush sash casement windows are windows which open from side or top hinges and sit flush with the window frame when they are closed. In comparison, regular casement windows have a lip that sits over the window frame when they’re closed.
Flush Sash frames offer a stunning period look to both modern and traditional properties alike, fitting seamlessly into our existing range of frames to create stylish windows with an excellent energy rating.

A choice of die-cast ergonomic handles in various colours provides the perfect finishing touch. All handles are die cast for strength and durability and are available in a range of colours. The hard wearing and decorative surface finish is produced using advanced coating technology known as Physical Vapour Disposition (PVD), which offers improved levels of corrosion and scratch resistance. A full range of Marine finish handles are also available.

In a standard detached three bedroom UK home, replacing single or older double-glazed windows could save your heating bills by up to £160 a year. This is because a better insulated home consumes less energy, consequently, saving you money and also reducing harmful CO2 emissions.
Understanding Energy-Efficiency
Window Energy Ratings rate windows from ‘A/A+’ to ‘G’ using a ‘traffic-light’ type colour code. For your windows to meet the building regulations, all new windows must achieve a minimum WER ‘C’ rating or U-value of 1.6 or less. Doors and conservatories are not rated in the same way, however, with Cardinal Home Improvements, both products are equally as energy-efficient as our windows ensuring your home performs well.
Designed to Keep You Warm & Secure
All Cardinal Home Improvement windows and doors use a German engineered, thermally efficient five chamber PVCu system which creates a barrier between cold air outside and warm air inside. It has also been designed to accommodate the most energy efficient triple-glazed insulated units.

Compliance to building document F and tested in accordance with BS EN 1026 & BS EN 1027 weather performance. Independently acoustically tested in accordance with BS EN 20140 10, ISO 140-10 .
HINGE
Produced from stainless steel and offer excellent load bearing characteristics and meet the requirements of BS6375.
GLAZING
Tested to BS EN1279-2& 3 / BS EN 12150.
SEAL
Provides outstanding weather performance to BS 4255-1 & BPF 345/2.
