OUR DOORS
Composite Doors
Using only modern, high-quality materials our composite doors faithfully replicate the traditional grain-look of natural timber entrance doors. However, unlike painted wood, which require regular upkeep, the only maintenance needed for a composite entrance door is an occasional wipe with a damp cloth. Additionally, a three-seal PVCu outer frame door ensures that you receive excellent draught-proofing and sound-proofing.
Composite doors from Cardinal Home Improvements are available in five standard colours, with a classy white finish on the inside. As well as this, you can choose from 8 premium colours or you can choose from any RAL colour (Though this will come at an additional cost and an extended lead-time). Additionally, complementary matching fixed panels with glazing are available for many of our door styles.

Understanding energy efficiency
Window Energy Ratings (WER) classify windows from ‘A/A+’ to ‘G’ using a color-coded system similar to traffic lights. To comply with building regulations, new windows must have at least a WER ‘C’ rating or a U-value of 1.6 or lower. Although doors and conservatories are not rated using the same system, our products offer equal energy efficiency to our windows, ensuring your home always maintains peak performance.

All Cardinal Home Improvements windows and doors utilize a German-engineered PVCu system with five thermal chambers, forming a robust barrier that keeps cold air out and warmth inside. This system is also designed to support highly energy-efficient triple-glazed insulated units. This is why our composite doors provide exceptional thermal insulation, complementing the efficiency of our windows and ensuring your home remains comfortably warm and energy-efficient.

Not only do we offer a wide variety of aesthetic options, but all of our doors are of the highest quality. Thereby supplying you with both a stylish, secure, and economical solution to your door replacement. Helping you to transform your property and maximise your living spaces. To do this:
- All of our frames, including those for composite doors, are manufactured using only high impact and high performance PVCu extruded to a defined European Standard of quality and consistency. This covers all areas of aesthetic appearance, dimensions, colour fastness and also strength of welds.
- All our doors can be manufactured to BS7412/ PAS24, the specification for PVC-U extruded profiles with heat welded corner joints.
- Additionally, they are all manufactured in accordance with ISO9001 (British Standards Quality Assurance System), the security hardware conforms to PAS 24 (the specification for enhanced security performance) and also our security enhanced doors are also passed by the official police security initiative, Secured by Design. Therefore, helping to keep your family and property safe.
