Stunning Bays & Bay WINDOWS
Bay Windows
The traditional way to maximise light and space in your home.
OUR WINDOWS
What Are Bay Windows?
Bow and Bay windows are designed to maximize the amount of natural light entering a room by incorporating three or more window frames. Traditional bay windows extend outward from the building, creating an interior ‘bay’ area that you can walk into. On the other hand, Bow windows are used when the wall is flush, supported by an underside framework and roof canopy to hold three to five sections. Both window styles offer flexible configurations with single, double, or multiple fixed and operable lights, allowing for a range of combination frames.

Cutting the Cost of Your Heating Bills with Bay Windows
Up to 25 percent of a home’s heat escapes through its windows, but by upgrading to energy-efficient windows and doors, this heat loss can be reduced by up to 75 percent.
For a detached three-bedroom home, replacing older single-pane or double-glazed windows—such as traditional bay windows—with modern energy-efficient models could cut heating costs by up to £160 annually. Enhanced insulation not only minimizes energy use but also helps lower harmful CO2 emissions, improving both the efficiency and environmental impact of your home.
Understanding Energy Efficiency
Window Energy Ratings (WER) are categorized from ‘A/A+’ to ‘G’ using a traffic-light colour system to indicate efficiency. To comply with building regulations, all new windows must achieve at least a ‘C’ rating or a U-value of 1.6 or lower. Although doors and conservatories are not rated in the same manner, our products maintain a level of energy efficiency that matches our windows, guaranteeing excellent overall performance for your home.
Design that Keeps You Warm
Cardinal Home Improvement’s windows are built with a sophisticated five-chamber PVCu system engineered in Germany for optimal thermal efficiency. This innovative design effectively separates cold external air from the warm interior, ensuring superior insulation. Additionally, the system is tailored to support advanced triple-glazed insulated units, maximizing energy efficiency.

Testimonials
What our customers say...
Thoroughly recommend Cardinal after seeing the prices and service of competitors (not naming any, but a very big National company really tried to pull a fast one on us with pricing and add-ons).
